Recent happenings
Jicks met up with me for dinner and passed me her NY souvenirs!
:D Thanks Jicks, loving the items!
Recently, I also had a flea to attend!
The morning started out with Omala giving me a lift!
HAHAHA! THANKS MANY MANY YOU BITCHIN OMALA!
He was on his way to the NDP site with his friend as well, thus gave me a lift.
Breakfast for the day!
I seriously felt like vomitting blood after that.
The bloody contractors took so long to unload and worse still was that they didnt help set up the tables. Was rather furious and I was so SORE, I was setting up the tables like crazy and lugging all the table tops and such.
The flea vendors were all waiting as we were setting up and I couldn't help but envy those vendors that had their boyfriends along with them so early in the morning helping them to carry items and such.
=\ Felt like pulling my hair midway setting the tables la. 100+ tables leh, and I only had manpower of like 5 persons? 4 at the end and only 2 guys.
Luckily most of the vendors are bloody nice people.
I also noticed right, a lot of stalls, there were a lot of parents.
Felt so.... I don't know maybe I was pleasantly surprised that the parents of the younger generation seem to be so interested in their kids' stuff and want to help out as best as they can you know what I mean?

I had companions for the day =)
This guy with the pink dress is an acquaintance who came down with a friend of mine, Desmond.

He seriously knows how to talk, too bad no more aunties around the vicinity for him to "kill"
HAHAHAHAHA.
GL, CL,Di & Mike were friggin angels after the flea.
They helped me with dismantling and moving of the damn tables.
At that point of time I felt like flinging myself and giving them serious bear hugs but I think their reaction will not reciprocate my feelings. LOL.

A few days ago, I accompanied my cousin to Keppel Bay to scout out her party venue.

These are the spaces in a yacht.
I was kind of amazed, as from the outside, they look damn small but once I was inside, I was taken aback at the amount of space.
Oh well!
Oh and guys and gals who will laugh when they see the below pic because I know you will:

ITS A SIGN! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA

Of all sorts
Well now, the other day Omala was saying that I rarely update anymore, at least not as often as I used to.
Coming from an almost non-existent blogger nia -.-
Anyhoo, will recap like crazy, can't take it? Too bad, coz I'll be MIA for the following week with reasons above!
1st May - Labour day!
Had work in the call center in the morning ! Pay was good, thus I put myself in for a slot and got it.
After that went to find my bf and fly around as usual.

MEH! GLoria jeans' $3 drink ain't that great, but Bf liked it.
Can't really remember what happened but I think it was operation keep bf in room again. HAHAHAHAHA.
What, makes life more interesting. I can be a part-time secret agent.
2nd May - SECRET MISSION
First half of our secret mission, the usual suspects, was at McDonalds Parkway. 2nd Half was at Roy's, we all rolled around half asleep at 4am and we still weren't done.
Don says hi.
3rd May - Julius' DAMN belated birthday dinner
Look who's working!

Was so shocked to see her jump field so drastically. HAHAHA, in fact so was Julius, as Jen usually promotes cosmetics and skin care. Turns out its just ad hoc work.
After her dinner we went to Fish & Co to have a very filling dinner, caught up so much as well! HAHAHAHA.
8th May - Effing busy day.
Had an inspection in the morning at Pathlight, a school for autistic children I heard, beautiful school, it totally did not look like a school. All of us were very impressed with it.
Then had a meeting at noon, and ran home after that to get ready for Mao's NDU grad night at Marina Mandarin.

Mao was like, " Theme is glamorous, but I don't care I am just wearing a formal shirt and jeans."
I was like," o.0 You sure a not? Later everyone wear nice nice you down there odd one out lor."
At the end of the day when I reached, true to my word, everyone was dressed to the nines.
En route to meet Mao at the ballroom I was like, " See la!" at him.
Mao: They're all crazy.
HAHHAAHHA Typical Mao la!

He was a very lucky fellow the whole night, keep on winning things.

Met with a few familiar faces! Lester, my orientation grp mate and Max, volleyball mate!

In fact, main organiser was Max, and he did a splendid job. It is the very same ballroom where my cousin's wedding dinner room was held. And Mao paid such a hefty price for both of us , I was like WTF.
Even though I knew no one there, the entertainment was great, as the audience was damn enthu. And I want to strangle Max the next time I see him. Why?
Mao: I always ask Max whether you pretty a not but he will always reply, " Ah? zr ah? Sweet la Sweet la!"
Mao's friends behind him were trying to hide their laughter when I was already trying to hunt Max down. Reason I didn't strangle him in the photo was because I was already in the ballroom and his date was there.
It is one thing to actually hear about shitty things and another thing to actually see it for your own eyes.
Mao & Max's hellweek was one mindf-king thing to go through. Lester was like crying in one of the scenes and another one Mao was like seriously hunched and very tired looking already. MAO LEH, the one in ATC or whatever shit don't ask just do, don't complain just do that MAO leh. Then the other guy beside him in the vid was crying as well.
Then they filmed all the tasks they have to go through and all the shit, seriously felt like crying for them man -.-|| No joke coz I if I were to actually be in their shoes, I think I'll freak out and snap. Chain push ups? Submersed in ice and water at night? Leopard crawling catching? WTF,Siao. Srsly I look up to them already.
I also was like, " Eh Mao, you say other girls you never call coz they got BF you paiseh , I also got BF why you will ask me o.O"
Mao: Too good friend with you liao thats why.
Haha! Good to know that.
Jen the other night was also asking me that I seem to be very close with guy friends, my bf won't get jealous?
My reply was that I knew whats what, a friend is a friend, nothing more, nothing less. I am not someone who is easily swayed by notions.
9th May - Jacq's SUPER belated birthday dinner

We went to Dallas Restaurant & Bar.
Choices were very limited and seriously, just stick with the ribs which are their specialty.

Squeezing into PL's car

When I took this photo , PL and the guys freaked, they thought it was TP or what suddenly got a flash.
We went to One Rochester!

Loads of them drank tea while WS, Bday girl and I opted for cocktails.

The problem with tea is that it smells DAMN good but when it comes to taste. Dang.
10th May - Marc's 21st bday high tea!
Even though it was a few short hours , we had a good time eating high tea at Jurong Point's Kuishinbo and walking around chit chatting.
We really are very busy these days, to get together seems so hard but hey we all made it.

*chu*

Round 1

Their hi-tea spread was not that bad, it was from 3.30PM - 5PM.
They included sushi, salads, soup, porridge, a few fried items and desserts.
Approx $18.90 ++

After lunch, went to find OMALA at city hall, just nice he was there when I had to run an errand there too. HEHEHE! I complained saying that Oliner got a DSI already! I still don't have and he was like what the hell, let's go get your belated 21st present then.
HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA. I'm gonna pay him some la. But still WTFISH ! ^^
We went around AMK scouting.
And TA DAH!

Currently playing Pheonix Wright! Had HELL LOTS OF FUN WITH THE CAMERA! HEEHEE!!!
11th May - SPUR DAY
SPUR prog at Bedok ITE, that darn school is gonna close down already and for good reason lor. -.-|||
I heard quite a chunk of its enrollment also transferred away already.

Meh!

Kinda boring! Lucky my table were 3 malay fellows that got a bit of experience with wiring. There was another classmate , who happened to be my EMSU colleague, a malay uncle, he is very nice but omg his breath -.- Every time he talked there was some sour smell mixed with the breath smokers get.
So if you smoke, TAKE NOTE OF YOUR BREATH.
Anyhow, I already got started packing, first time I really pack a suitcase in a very long time, the last time I brought a suitcase was an empty one to BKK.
=3 Will miss you guys. Hope you miss me too!
P.S: On a random note
XH, Roy's cheating on you with Ah Woo, I got photographic evidence.
I can really be a secret agent man. HEH!

Spot the moon! Was quite surprised to see the moon out so early at 4pm +

View in the mornings

Current favourite songs:
(Recently tethering towards Electronica. WHAT! They have good tunes!)
M83 - We own the sky
They held a contest for this particular song and this vid won.
I loved it. THIS IS THE GOLDEN HOUR.
The place looks awesome as well. Wish we had some place like that in SG.
Guru Josh Project - Infinity 2008 Klaas remix w vocals.
I'm listening to the one without vocals though, classier please -.- The vocals ruined it!
I was really attracted by the "trumpet sound a like". My bro was blasting it in his room. Whenever I hear it, I just feel like twirling around in a middle of the field till I get dizzy. I been sounding parts of the song like nuts la, BF and Jerry also started catching it. HAHAHA.
OKOKOK I NEED SLEEP NIGHT!

hot days
These few days have been a tad unexpected.Rather busy, gonna start on some paper work again later on.
Went to work, on the side went to go collect a cheque on behalf of my colleague, that dude was such a bitch I sincerely felt like doing this do him:

What a TOTAL bitch, the moment I heard his voice on the phone I knew he was the bitchy gay type already.
Made me walk under the scorching sun til I almost went mad.
Last night was an impromptu gathering with some of the usuals at T3, just nice my dad flying off to Germany however when I arrived he had already went into the gates.
Bubble tea and my beloved POPEYE'S BISCUITS =3
Was rather fun though , haven't see all of them in ages, have yet to see Daryl & TF as well, so damn long!
Anyhoo, if you really find the weather super unbearable, you can try getting this product, I bought it coz after the heat wave started, I started to get an outbreak on my forehead and neck and I knew it was because of my oily scalp already.
Review: Original Source
Product info:
Original source shampoo and body washes are made with a concentrated amount of essential oils.
They come in a few variations of smells and sources, however the only ones I've used are the Mint & tea tree and Mandarin orange ones.

Why I love this product:
The smell & effect is so strong! It will wear off a little but the initial wearing off stages is very distinct and can be felt.
Especially for the mint series as it has a very strong menthol sensation.
Using it on the scalp or skin is like applying prickly heat powder or medicated oil except without the heat but more of the "cooling sensation".
Simply put, it is like eating a mentos or menthol sweet and gulping down water after, the chilling sensation will be there.
This mint & tea tree shampoo is really good for my scalp, I have an OILY scalp, very prone to pimples sometimes during hot weather. This helps me wash off excess oil, and it does not really dry out my hair, you could couple it with the conditioner that is also sold if your hair is extra dry.
One last tip, wash off with cold water, the sensation is good. LOL
The orange one I used to use it for mornings before going to school as the citrus smell really wakes me up and the mint one is too cold to use in the mornings.
Orange shampoo more noted for its moisturising effect on hair though!
Why I dislike this product:
The price is exorbitant. So expensive. Plus the product is kind of hard to find, its not really common in every beauty/necessity shop.
TAKE NOTE, DO NOT LET PRODUCT GET IN EYES! It will sting, immediately flush out shampoo or soap in eye if product gets in.
Rating :
3.5/5 stars
1 mark off for the price!
0.5 marks off for the stinging if products gets in eye.

EARTH HOUR!
Initially wanted to go out to town to experience Earth Hour 2009 where a lot of building's facade lights are switched off. However, due to my dates being very late, decided to nua at home first.
Don decided to join some raid online than come out with us, so a few hours later, Roy , CL , Mike and I found ourselves at Park lane going to play Left4dead, which was pretty exciting!
The first map was easier than the 2nd one we played, coz the 2nd one I kept dying T_T
I'm the player that always lurks around the back, don't dare to run infront hero.
Thus I always have the problem of shooting my team mates. HAHAHAHHAAHAHA
Hey man, they don't crouch and when a horde comes, I just fire away with my machine gun.
Overall pretty amused!
We then tottered along to fei fei for wanton mee and soon rolled hommmmmme.
Thank goodness for EDMW, I get to see the blacking out in pictures and vids even though I wasn't there ;3

plenty of things in march
I haven't been updating much about my personal life except when it comes to other fiddly diddly stuff like interests ( TV!TV!)PLENTY of stuff accumulated, just that every time I got down to type, I'd get a writer's block.
Well, let's start off with quite awhile ago, we celebrated someone's birthday.

Guess who. HAH!
You dumb asshole, you know we love you and we don't actually forget that you do have a bday but next time just say that you want us to rmb instead of discouraging us. Anyway, you are ayear older I hope you actually know how to think more rationally now, may not happen in an instant but whne time comes I hope you see it.
ANything you do, I just hope you're happy la. SO! Happy belated birthday.
----------------------------------------------
All the way at Changi Airport. We had Popeye's, a drink at McCafe and rolled home with Jerry getting all pissy in a hissy fit at me. @()#*@)(#_()#ANything you do, I just hope you're happy la. SO! Happy belated birthday.
----------------------------------------------
I heard he had to go at 9.30 PM, in the end its REACH at 9.30PM and I was like WUUUTTTT. And he was like, "!()@*)(@*#)@#(_(#!(" at me already.
nehnehpok.
And AFTER this person's birthday, I had 2 more celebrations at another date!
First up on that date was:
XH!
We all went to Kushinbo at Suntec for lunch!
Ate till we were gonna burst at the seams.

Funny how we always take for granted that sushi rolls are rolled and placed there for us right? Until at Kushinbo, we found we had to roll them ourselves as they prepared it with a plastic sheet to maintain the seaweed's crispiness.
Don and HL had so much trouble! HAHAHAHA!I am the champion sushi roll roller.
Btw, take a look at Don & HL's bid at sushi advertising -.-

Not bad la hor? XD
Next up on the agenda was to find a place to chill out. We braved the wind and rain to run all the way to Haji Lane.
First stop was this shisha cafe which we left sooner than we expected due to the sudden throng of smokers.

XH, Di & I scooted off first as we couldn't stand the smell of the ciggy smoke any longer. We ran around the street shopping.

After seeing these pics, I am really starting to ask whether is it my camera exposure too high or are we really that white o.O

Going OM. Our favourite ok. We were waiting for it to open, but when we arrived at around 6pm it was JUST opening only and not ready yet so we went to Bussorah street where XH introduced us the Children little museum!

The uncle was so steady ok. He was kinda excited he had such a big group at the place.

Why is HL's butt facing me all the time -.-|||
Entry fee is 2 bucks each, and you're lead through this little space, up to this entire room full of nostalgic toys and items that kids used to play with or were part of childhood last time!!

They even had this facade of an old school on one of their walls along with old school report books, IDs and such.

The pictures of HL bonking a air-inflated horse are in FB as well. HAHAHAHAHA

The uncle also gave us the LITTLE NYONYA experience la. HAHAHAHAHA

We were SO amused please. The uncle was so damn enthu, though he speaks rather loudly but he already told us that that is how he converses la so if he comes upon rude, forgive him.

GRP SHOT! Missing quite a few though, mike gotta leave earlier and as for the rest, I heard it was for NS related stuff =|

This damn old fridge is still working ok. I was so damn surprised, and I immediately wished I could have one as well.

Happy 21st XH!
Yet another unexpected pleasant surprise in my life~
Who was to know we'd only start hanging out more often after sec sch?
May all good things befall you such as the loveliest of weather on your travels and your wish for $$$$! Not to forget may all your future plans take flight and stay pretty forever!
XOXO

I had to leave XH's party earlier as I had to attend Julius' 21st chalet!
Again, BF & I braved through rain and wind to get to his chalet.
A pity Jen couldn't join us though, her presence was missed.

Happy birthday dude!
Cheers to actually finding a good buddy in an IS class. What are the odds that you just turned around and started talking to us.
I sincerely hope you'll be happy always, and things will go smoothly for you in life and future endeavors!
Keep rocking and keeping a smile on your face!
P.S: The others in you camp are F-ed up, turn your blind side on em. Rmb, you're the bigger person.
-------------------------------------------
On a side note, I have recently gotten my first own personal insurance policy.
The thick folder safely tucked away now. Kind of.... a step in my life actually as I traced the hard cover and embossment of letters on it, a scary one as in I am so much closer to actually be an adult fending for myself.
=\ Dad will be paying off the first few years for me. We needed to start as early as possible as the older you get, the higher the premium you have to pay.
The best thing about this policy I got was that I only need to pay for 15 years and get covered for life.
My dad does plan things out for us to a T. What with the education savings and now insurance. And I am very grateful for that, its just that planned to TOO much of a detail you know?
He was telling me that he expects me to be working full-time in a high rank position in the next 5 years.
And recently I was flipping the pages to take a look at how recession proof my future degree is, apparently it looks bleak. I am starting to get cold feet and wanted to talk to him about the possibility of changing it but he already went overseas already.
So I messaged an ex-lecturer on FB about it since she worked in the industry before and she was telling me quite a bit of things which did lift my anxiety a little.
I have still have so many things I want to do but always there will be obstacles or choices I have to make.
Oh well. Till the next time, see you!
