21st birthday
MGMT is effing awesome.
It has been SUCH a busy week .
First up!
OUR BELOVED CNY HAS ARRIVED!
Look at our reunion dinner! The "night" before I was up celebrating LengLeng's bday then rolled home and I STILL continued to clean up the kitchen and do loads of laundry!
Till the wee hours of 8am!
Slept and woke up later on in the late noon to help a little bit with the dinner.
All the cooked food was cooked by my aunt and transported over. HEH.
Few minutes before 初一！
First day of visiting is never complete without:
- Oranges
-Gambling
My uncle grinning coz he's winning all our money. LOL
- Kids wearing traditional garb
-People wearing new clothes
-Major cook out activity in the kitchen
- Lou hei
And of course, family,
Brother playing with the younger cousin's remote controlled tank.
They were trying to build obstacles out of those play mats la -.-
CNY was a blast and then I took off for the last half of the week, everyday going out with an empty back pack and coming home with it stuffed to its bursting seams.
Met up with Maojie on thursday!
He gave me a treat at Pasta de waraku at The Heeren.
And he was telling me all about his training at NDU and I hear already also scared.
We had a SUPER hearty meal. Mao ate the most and I too don't blame him after his hell week. I guess guys like him can be super proud of themselves, that they actually graduated through all those shitty and strenuous things.
The very fit and more tanned Mao( Even though you can't see it under the lighting). I was comparing my arm beside his and noted the stark difference can. Last time he was the same shade as me, now he's brown. -.-|||

We went to watch Bride wars after that and tottered home.
Had a very good time catching up with an old friend but most unfortunately, as we grow older all our schedules are pretty erratic.
What to do?
On Friday, my family celebrated for me at my aunt's house! The spread was even better than the CNY day1 spread man! Was so touched!

The following day?
31st January
Anyway, had a big bash at Changi for a limited number of friends due to my space constraint. If you didn't get invited, it was either:
1) You're not on good terms with some of the folk there
2) You'll be alone or just with another person sitting in one corner.
3) There really wasn't enough space and I had to weigh which clique would most probably come.
So yea. I was trying to play a good host here! I didn't want anyone sitting alone or getting bored.
All I had to say is, my 21st birthday party was a real fine sifter for me.
All of you should know that to me, a birthday is VERY important.
Thus, derived from the entire process, albeit not on purpose but it just hit me,since the planning of the party till the very end, I found out which friends were which:
-Those who didn't give two hoots.
You can be sure, from now on, I couldn't care less about you.
-Those who couldn't be depended on.
-Those who don't really know me very well. [Although some I really cannot blame you]
Of course, with the bad, always comes the good.
in which even though they think I'm not watching I was merely side glancing at them helping me throughout.
The special mentions will come later on la.
And I looked terrible that day! With my slipping neckline of a dress and no make up! GAH!
But oh well, look on the bright side, everyone's seen me WITHOUT make up ALL the time.
Was running around like a mad woman prepping everything, I admit, I wasn't thoroughly prepared and at the eleventh hour, the following people were heroes:
-Cousin JX & CF
-YX
-BF
-Justin/Xuan
-Jerry/geekomala.
Especially that omala I made him vomit BUCKETS of blood and he is complaining to NO end, so now next time IF he has a wedding I have to be his wedding singer. (WTF?!)

The catering was awesome, lucky PP insisted that I take this particular company and he would pay. Worth the money I must say.
A pity though some backed out last minute or ate before they came, caused much leftovers.

I laughed till I cried. My favourite was Iris , Angel and Lyd's team in charades.
They were trying to act out the Matrix.

HEH, the night ended early, I had quite a lot of stuff to carry home so yea.

=D I was half awake when I received it, I immediately sat up straight when I was feeling around the lens and guessed what it was la.
MAN! THANK YOU BABY DEAR! MUACKS. I didn't put it on the wish list and he just got it for me like that!
My brother was so shocked he went around complaining/exclaiming to people about.
In total, I received 3 cameras!
1 DSLR from Yobuie!
1 Action sampler from the MPS peeps!
1 Fujifilm mini instax from Iris,Angel, Cat & Lyd!
Oh and look what my elder cousins bought for me:
YES, I know. STOP laughing.
I was fiddling around with it and I haven;t changed my mind about it but thank goodness my brother helped me out with it or else I would have been SUPER frustrated with it.
Apparently it WON'T prompt you to do anything, you gotta figure it out yourself. And I had so much trouble with iTunes.
But oh well better than nothing right!

I really appreciated your presence and effort to attend and the many well wishes and enthusiasm.

Without them , I'd be a wreck.
