The other day, I went out with Weeky, Ceddy, Timo & Jason to slack and catch a movie.Weeky went shopping with me and WTH, FAR EAST PLAZA'S stuff are ALL SO EXP NOW.
$169 for a DRESS!!! @#*@()#*@*#
Anyway, all of us went to watch , WATCHMEN.
It was an awesome movie.
Intriguing right from the start.
I loved how they used all those famous pictures, songs and references from the past like:
The famous picture of the Post war sailor kiss.
A sailor was so delighted that the war has ended, he just grabbed a nurse and kissed her.
Oh the IRONY of that scene.
KEEP A LOOK OUT FOR IT.
There were several refences, but I can't remember everything!
And the song I once posted,
Simon & Garfunkel - Sound of silence
The Sound Of Silence - Simon & Garfunkel
was played as well!
Quite lovely =)
I did wish they elaborated more on the old cast,
I am SO interested in what are their powers etc etc ok?
Esp the first lady on the left, Silhouette.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan as The comedian.

Puzzling thing was that I read in Wiki, that apparently none of them have superpowers.
Then what about their abnormal strength? o.O
WEIRD. All in all it is a good show, and it ties up loose ends making you able to understand the show without actually reading the comic.
Give it a go!
