skins
Recently I have been watching the 3rd season of

Skins

Photobucket

Skins is a British teen drama aimed at young adults which is at the forefront of Channel 4's quest to bring more British programming to Britain.
Fast-paced and full of angst-ridden fun, this British drama is based on a group of Bristolian teenagers and their personal struggle with highly-charged issues of race, religion, sexuality, drugs and food disorders.

From tv.com

Anyhow, 3rd season, they got rid of EVERYONE from the first & second season except for 2 actresses. Thus they are branding 3rd season as Skins: 2nd generation.

I MISS THE OLD CAST.

WHY?

LOOK AT THEM:

Cassie,my fave female character. - real name : Hannah Murray

Basically, as TF said it, "this show is all about girls, drugs, booze and sex" And I DEFINITELY prefer this to gossip girl.

This is the show that I also first saw the appearance of Dev Patel as Anwar:

Who's trying to be a good Muslim but apparently, sex, drugs and booze keeps getting in the way.

It all started one day when I was surfing tv.com and tv.com had a mini vid clip for skins. Since I had nothing better to do, clickity click, and I was intrigued. I thought the title SKINS meant some alien sci-fi shizzle but what do you know? It was about rebellious teenagers! HEH.

Beseeched TF to get it for me and VOILA. I enjoyed watching it. I love the way they film stuff, and the scenery! OOOOOOOOOOOH

Not to mention their AWESOME soundtrack.

One of the 2 actresses who got retained was Effy Stonem, Tony Stonem's little sister, portrayed by Kaya Scodelario.

LOVE HER.

LOOK AT HOW GORGEOUS SHE IS:
