I woke up, and replied to quite a few messages of birthday wishes [ THANK YOU SO MUCH!] and one from my dad whom said we were meeting tonight but most prolly after dinner and asked me to track down my brother. Yes, I do not know where or when my brother will end work etc etc.

Went to the office hoarding a box of oranges and pineapple bites to give my colleagues some bite treats and clear that mountain of paperwork looming in my pigeon hole.

And after that zoomed to meet Cousin JX who accompanied me to eat some sumptuous dinner at Manhattan Fish Market at Plaza Singapura. Alright, maybe we just shared two appetizers and a plate of pasta but we were freaking full.

Would you believe it? I forgot to buy my much craved saybons SOUP!?

GAH! Story of my life!

Then my father called saying that to hurry go here and there as he has to rush to go "bai bai" pray at a temple later on at night as once it hits 12 midnight, its 初九。And I said I wanna go too!

MIDNIGHT TEMPLE AFFAIR! I never see before!

Then my dad was like, " Eh, we go pray to this particular god on this particular date must EVERYTHING wear new one leh. Even underwear!"

Sounded ludicrous but somewhat can understand where its coming from.

"We going to 拜拜天公啊！The biggest of the biggest!"

So I figured maybe its tradititon. So off I went to get new undies and then go home to change into new clothes and whatever.

Who was to know suddenly my dad called and said that he was already at the designated meeting point.

And he decided not to bring me along already as it would end at 2-3am and I cannotgo to work tomorrow looking sleepy faced.

Seriously, I was like @)#(_()@$_(_$#! BUY ALREADY THEN TELL ME.

I ran helter skelter to the waiting car and off we went to get the brother.

Then he called saying NOT SO FAST,meet later a bit.
So dad brought me to T3 to drink coffee. HEH!

AND DARYL WONG, I KNOW THAT DAMN PLACE I'VE ALWAYS BEEN TALKING ABOUT ALREADY! NEXT TIME I DIRECT YOU ALL GO THERE.

Brother's bloody base is SO DAMN ULU KABULU.

We almost went past it if it weren't for me spotting the reflection off the metal words.

Acquired brother then went to get MiaoHui who just returned from Taiwan with her family she brought back a box full of brother's favourite Taiwan snacks. I managed to kio 2 packets.

SO,
Miao Hui(bro's gf), brother and I were at the lift lobby at our void deck.

I was asking MiaoHui whether she wants a pink undie as I was clutching a la senza paper bag and peering in at the row of 3 pink undies packed like cupcakes.

And she burst out laughing while she asked and I told her the entire debacle.


Well, at least they were 50% off. Phew.

I just passed my 21st birthday with a low key day, however I did enjoy myself a tad as this day had important people in it. I got to eat a good birthday dinner.

I'm going back to work refreshed, and I got to spend some time all the way at the airport! LOL, the place where people only go there for a reason.

Bf is messaging me even though he's outfield and I recently borrowed LOTS of archie comics.

So kinda awesome.

Oh,FINDING CRAB EATING KAKIs.

I REALLY want to try the Black pepper crab at Eng Seng Restaurant!

The other day I treated my dad to a dinner at this Meng Kee Restaurant.


Had this particular crab dish with beehoon:




Srsly guys, the claw were frikkin HUGE, like the size of my hand!

The total weight of 2 of those crabs were 1.9KG, ate along with 3 other dishes, the entire meal set me back $180.

BUT HUGE CRAB.

SO WHO WANNA BE MY CRAB EATING KAKI!?

Recently, I have this VERY weird notion.
I feel SUPER irritated at myself. As long as I don't eat meat, say a good piece of steak, I'd still feel ravenous.

I didn't eat meat today at all, and I already feel uber hungry even though my dinner was exceptionally filling.

Jerry just called from his camp to boast he just lost 1KG on his mandarin orange diet.

Aye, I have quite a bit of leftover freezed food. Like the shabu shabu pork slices and prawns in the freezer and several packets of opened up spaghetti ( SRSLY, WHY THEY ALWAYS OPEN WITHOUT LOOKING WHETHER GOT LEFTOVERS??!), hmmmmm.

Let's see what I can do with them. HEHEHEHE
